The Aluminum Titan Trimming Wheel is a high-performance, lightweight trimming wheel made from aircraft-grade aluminum. As Trim-Tec’s most aggressive trimming wheel, the Titan represents an advancement from the Hog-style wheel, making it ideal for professional trimmers managing large workloads. This trimming wheel delivers a smooth yet aggressive cut and features the widest cutting surface among our wheels.

The Titan Trimming Wheel includes the Back Cut feature, which allows both sides of the wheel to cut, providing excellent contouring and trimming around the toes. It effectively handles both soft and hard hooves while resisting rock and sand, making it suitable for both bulk removal and finish work.

Equipped with 4-sided indexable carbide inserts (3mm Ultra and Performance 3mm inserts), the Titan Trimming Wheel fits grinders of 4.5 inches, 115 mm, and 125 mm sizes. Available in Aluminum (featured) and Titanium (see Titanium wheels page), the Aluminum Titan offers a cost-effective solution while delivering the same cutting performance as the Titanium Titan. The Aluminum Titan typically lasts between 6 months to a year, with recommended checks for wear and damage at the 6-month mark.
